"Crunchy" games are for those who desire a challenge; something meaty; something you can really sink your teeth into. The term originates from games which require number-crunching to win, but now it's used to describe any games with more complex mechanics and heavy strategy. Only games with a complexity rating of 2.5/5 or higher (as rated by Board Game Geek) are found here. Warning, these games are for players who aren't afraid of reading rules and organizing pieces!
