A series of sabotages has shocked Lucky Llama Land! Multiple attractions at the theme park were tampered with. Players start their investigations and combine clues about the days of the crimes, perpetrators, tools, and crime scenes.
The Key is a replayable investigative game series. Each player combines clues to quickly and correctly solve each case. There is no turn order in the game; all players investigate at the same time. Players decide which clue cards to look at and glean information from. While cards with a higher value provide mre specific clues, they count for more points at the end of the game. The winner is the player who identifies the correct 3-digit code while accruing the lowest score. In the end, it’s not necessarily the fastest investigator who wins the game, but the most efficient one.
Sabotage at Lucky Llama Land is a Starter level The Key game, meaning that is one of the easier games in the series. If you think you and your family might enjoy a little more challenge, check out The Key: Murder at the Oakdale Club, a Medium level game that has you solving an addition fact for each case, as well as completing trickier puzzles. For example, Murder at the Oakdale club includes puzzles that have players reading maps to solve for time over distance.
