Ticket to Ride is a cross-country train adventure in which players collect and play matching train cards to claim railway routes connecting cities throughout various countries around the world, depending on the edition.

The longer the routes you create, the more points you earn. Additional points come to those who can fulfill their Destination Tickets by connecting two distant cities, and to the player who builds the longest continuous railway.

Each edition offers a unique board with its own unique challenges but the same core gameplay. In addition to the new board map, Ticket to Ride Europe and subsequent European countries offers brand new game play elements including Tunnels, Ferries and Train Stations.
